Thanks to the smooth cycle of the four processes of inhalation, compression, drawing and exhaust in the cylinder, the starter can continuously provides power.

- Inhalation process: When the piston moves from the upper stop in the cylinder to the lower stop, the inhalation door is opened, the exhaust door is closed, and fresh air and gasoline mixture is inhaled into the tank.
- Compression process: The exhaust gate is closed, the piston moves from the lower stop to the upper stop, the mixed gas is compressed to the top of the cylinder to raise the temperature of the mixing gas and prepare for the work trip.
- Drawing process: The sparkle ignites the compressed gas, and the mixed gas "explodes" in the cylinder to create a huge pressure, pushing the spankle from the upper stop point to the lower stop point, and push the curved axis to rotate through the beam.
- Exhaust process: The piston is moved from the lower stop to the upper stop, when the inlet door is closed, the exhaust door is opened, and the combustion exhaustive gas is discharged out of the cylinder through the discharge pipe.
